Vincenzo Nesci passed away peacefully on December 13, 2020 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Angela. Loving father of Ortenzia (Vito), Joe, Rose (Tony) and Patty (Rob). Cherished Nonno to Michael, Daniel, Jessica, Cassandra and Lucas. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his loving family, relatives and friends. Scheduled visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele St. 416-636-7027) on Monday, December 21, 2020 between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service for Vincenzo will be private as well as the Cemetery.

Now that the Toronto Region has moved to a “Lockdown Zone”, visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in attendance. Please keep in mind that the Visitation and Funeral Service is by invitation only due to Government Restrictions as well as the Bereavement Authority of Ontario directives.

We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.

As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Nesci Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.

When in conversation with friends all to often I hear, have heard reference, and jokes made towards their in-laws . I can honestly say if I tried to find fault in my father- in-law I could not. He never judged me or criticized anything I ever did . He was simply very caring and supportive of everything and anything I wanted to do or was doing.

The hours we spent together in Wasaga at the cottage are times
I will cherish forever! My father-in-law was like a child on vacation when we were in Wasaga. He loved every minute we spent there together and just adored everything the outdoors had to offer. I am very grateful for this quality time and the positive impact its had on our entire family.

In life I have met all kinds, those that are boastful about possessions and accomplishments but have nothing to share, and those like my father-in-law who never complained a day in his life. Regardless of good fortune or misfortune he gave so willingly of himself and what he had.

We are blessed to have known you , blessed to have had time with you and blessed by your very presence and how you enriched our lives. I will miss you terribly but hold on to everything we shared together.

This past summer we made a new seating area at the cottage by the water that you never saw and would have loved. As soon as the weather permits, I will pour us each a glass of wine and toast your legacy and your memory. I have every expectation to see you there and to share our final glass of wine together.

Love as always, your son-in-law,
