Obituary for Vito Ruggieri
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Vito Ruggieri on Sunday, January 16, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 96.
He is now joined in heaven with his late wife Antonia and son Domenic. Vito was a beloved father of Cathy Davidson (Rod), Ben (Grace), Anthony, Marisa, and daughter-in-law Kim. He was also the proud Nonno of Danielle, Joanna, Matthew, Alex, Laura, Isabella, Noah, Mark and Stephanie. Cherished Bisnonno to Ava and Milena. Caring Brother to Dina, Rosa, Lorenzo and Leonardo.
Vito will also be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many extended family and friends.
A private family only visitation will take place on Thursday January 20, 2022.
A Funeral Mass will be held for him on Friday January 21, 2022 at 9:30 AM in St. Philip Neri Church (2100 Jane St.). For those that wish to attend please go directly to the church Friday morning. Private entombment to follow.
