Obituary for Velia Protomanni
Surrounded by her loved ones, Velia passed away March 8, 2023 at the age of 91. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Amelio. Always remembered by her dear children, Joe (Maria), Franco (Maria) and Roberto (Sandra). Velia was a proud Nonna to Alexander (Sara), Steven (Sandra), Lauren (Michael), Christina and Marlene. Cherished Bisnonna to Gabriel and Gloria. She will be forever missed by her brother Aldo (Paola). Velia will be remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, relatives and friends.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario. Tel. 905-850-9500) on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 3-8pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Road, Woodbridge, Ontario) on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 9:30am, An entombment will immediately follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., Concord, Ontario). Donations in memory of Velia may be made to the Parkinson Canada.
