Obituary for Valencia Elaine Warren

Valencia, our beloved family matriarch, sang and prayed her way into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was a devoted wife to her predeceased husband Stanley and caring Mother to her predeceased son Leacroft. Cherished mother to her 3 remaining children Larry, Sharon and Mitsy and Mother-in-law to Michael, Rodrick, Sharon E., a grandmother to Joline, Michael-Anthony, Jordan, Nubian, Italo, Harold, Blair and Jackie. As well as 3+1 great-grandchildren Emmett, Ezekiel, Eli and our beautiful baby girl on the way. Aunt to Gary, Sandy, Tiffany, Jackie, Ricky and Cousin to Cherry and Earl. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

“A Trailblazer”
Valencia courageously left her homeland, alone, many years ago.
She blazed a path to a world unknown.
Then built a better life for her husband and all her children.
Where the fruits of her labor would never be hidden.
Through life’s gains and yes, it’s losses, the Lord’s Grace, and her persistence
Valencia never gave up and fought on to see, many dreams come to be.
Today we Celebrate 84 years of life, well lived.
A true trailblazer who taught us through deed, how to give.
To defer one’s life for her family is a sacrifice of love
Valencia’s journey is a lesson we can all glean from
Now in the arms of sweet Jesus her path was always clear.
We will remember Valencia forever,
as she basks in Heaven’s Glory,
in that beautiful land over there.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

The family appreciates all your prayers and words of comfort during this difficult time. They welcome you to come and celebrate her life and mark she left in our hearts.

John 11:25-26

"Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me,
even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me
will never die.'
