And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow; nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I can remember the times when my uncle traveled from Canada to Jamaica to spend time with us in that I was greatest time of our lives. During his visit my father would leave his room to sleep with uncle Uzziel for the entire duration. Be prepared for the long sleepless night because my dad Ansel (now deceased) and uncle Uzziel would talk for the entire night. My uncle would talk some long time stories over and over again including when they were boys. He would asked Ansel for the entire community. In the morning he would great us with some of the best heart warming smiles. My uncle was a man of history he could tell about everything. I remember I was having a conversation over with auntie Pam while he was in the hospital but auntie Pam was not sure of the history on the topic and she said to me that when your uncle return from the hospital he would ask uncle Uzziel about the history of the story. Little did we knew that he wouldn't make it home. I can honestly say were are grateful to God for giving us one of the best uncle. My uncle was kind, handsome, loving and caring and the list goes on. What a man could dress he was always well put together. God saw you getting tired, a cure not to be so he put his arms around you and whispered, Come home with me." Uncle Uzziel we miss you but sleep on take your rest.

Uncle P as he was affectionately called by my children and I, was a very good human being. He was quite sociable, yet so quiet. He had a good heart and loved people, especially children.
I remember on numerous occassions from the birth of my children and when we visited we would chat, laugh and shared many meals. Christmas and Thanksgiving were among those special occasions as we all shared together.
I just want you to say, Uncle "P" that you are gone but not forgotten. Memories of you will forever live in our hearts... R.I.P.
