On Saturday, May 23, Theoni Dizes, loving wife, dedicated mother and proud grandmother, passed away at the age of 91. She was born in Sparta, Greece on April 12, 1929 and immigrated to Toronto as a young woman. She married the love of her life, Leonidas and celebrated almost 65 wonderful together and raised two daughters. She was predecesed by her brother Bill and nephew Bill who surely welcomed her with open arms. She is survived by her husband Leonidas, her daughters Anastasia and her husband Nickolas, Catherine and her husband Jim, and 3 grandaughters that she absolutely adored, Elena, Tania and Joanna as well as her soon to be grandson Anthony. She will also be missed by her sister Valerie and her husband Christopher, and her loving niece Xenia and her family, Apostoli, Zaharoula and Thomas, sister-in-law, Eleni in Sparta and niece Katherine and nephew Tom.
