Obituary for Sereno Minchio
Heaven has gained a beautiful Angel. Sereno Minchio passed away surrounded by family on February 10th, 2022 at the age of 91. Sereno was born in Schio, Vicenza, Italy and came to Canada in 1954. He married the love of his life on January 3, 1959. Sereno will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Lina Minchio, his children, Kelley (Herald), Remo (Pauline) and his adoring grandchildren Anthony (Cassidy) and Brianna and he will be greatly missed by his beloved nieces and nephews.
Sereno was a fixture at Roding Italian Seniors club where he would play cards, laugh with friends and share many, many stories. Sereno was a loving son, brother, husband, father, nonno and uncle and proud member of the community. Sereno joins his parents, Giovianni and Uliana, his siblings, and daughter-in-law Stephanie Tymcio-Minchio.
We are deeply comforted with the knowledge that Sereno is surrounded by his siblings, family and friends, laughing, singing and dancing.
