Rosina (Rosa) Giorno (nee Chiapetta) age 88, born in Southern Italy, Calabrian, Cosenza, Mont Alto Uffugo, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.

Predeceased by her Parents, Pasquale & Davina and her Husband Giuseppe.

Survived by her sons Frank & Tony, with Daughter in-laws Cathy, Christine & Suzanne, Grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Joseph, Anthony, and Alessio as well by many extended family.

A beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother, Nonie, Zia, whose greatest joy was family and gatherings around the dinner table, will be missed beyond words.

She led a life of arduous work and determination, while also raising two children, with dreams of a better life for her family. Gone, but will never be forgotten.

Rosina (Rosa) Giorno (nata Chiapetta) anni 88, nata nel Sud Italia, Calabria, Cosenza, Montalto Uffugo, si è spenta serenamente venerdì 6 gennaio 2023 al Mount Sinai Hospital di Toronto.

Premorto dai suoi genitori, Pasquale e Davina e suo marito Giuseppe.

Sopravvissuta dai suoi figli Frank e Tony, con le suoceri Cathy, Christine e Suzanne, i nipoti Christopher, Ashley, Joseph, Anthony e Alessio e anche da molte famiglie allargate.

Un'amata figlia, moglie, madre, Nonie, Zia, la cui più grande gioia era la famiglia e le riunioni attorno al tavolo da pranzo, ci mancherà oltre le parole.

Ha condotto una vita di duro lavoro e determinazione, crescendo anche due figli, con il sogno di una vita migliore per la sua famiglia. Andato, ma non sarà mai dimenticato.
