Rose Marie Godbout (nee Provost)
Rose Marie passed away suddenly at Humber River Hospital on January 23, 2023 at the age of 74. She was a loving mother to Karen and Karl, and her grandchildren Juliana, Amber and Andrew. She was predeceased by her parents Delima (nee Emery) and Louis Provost of Chatham, Ontario, and loving sister to Selena LaPalme and Gerry and Karen Provost. She was predeceased by her sisters Marie Sheppard, Kathleen Domanski, Phyllis Cartier, Simone Drouillard and Diane Hiles, and her brothers Wilfred, Joe and Jack Provost. Rose Marie’s life was filled with challenges and struggles, but she faced them with fierce determination in spite of what life threw at her. Anyone who knew her well understood that she had a heart of gold underneath that tough exterior. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and sarcasm, and she will be profoundly missed.
Visitation at DeMarco Funeral Home, 3725 Keele St., North York, Ontario, will be held on Saturday January 28 from 2-4 with a funeral service to follow.
