Obituary for Rita Tan-Abrenica
Rita Tan-Abrenica joined our Creator on March 6th, 2023 at the age of 97. Rita passed away peacefully at home, with her loving family by her side. She will be forever missed by her caring children Art and his wife Emily, Angelita and Carmen and her husband Fritzi. Rita will be deeply missed by her dear grandchildren Veronica, Angela, Caerina, Geoffrey, Gideon, Gelay, Stephanie, and Christine. She was a strong, loving, caring and gentle person and her smiles and laughter will be greatly missed.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home - Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, On. Tel: 905-850-9500) on Sunday, March 12th, 2023 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. David’s Parish (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr. W., Maple, On.) on Monday, March 13th, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.

Lord, we hear You calling our name, and entrusting us with the task of building your Kingdom, here on earth.
May we, at St. André Bessette Parish, respond with our resounding “yes”, to build your kingdom; brick-by-brick with you as Chief Cornerstone and Master Builder.
