Pierina Bernardi, 98, of Toronto, Ontario, passed away on March 1, 2023, peacefully in her sleep from natural causes. Pierina was born on June 29, 1924, to Luigi and Elisa, in Resana, Treviso, Italy. She and her husband, Alfonso (b. 1917, d. 1993) immigrated to Canada 1952 and went on to have 4 children, Luigi, Lucia, Mario, and Antonio. Pierina is survived by her children, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Elena and Maria Pia. Pierina dedicated her life to making a loving home for her family, and she leaves behind a legacy that will flourish for generations to come. Pierina will always be held dear in the hearts of her many family and friends, and of course all of those whose lives she touched.

Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario Tel: 416-636-7027) Monday, March 06, 2023 between 3-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday, March 07, 2023 at DeMarco Funeral Home Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario Tel: 416-636-7027) at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON).
