It is with great sadness that the family of Pia Sattolo announce her passing on November 3, 2020. Born
in Italy on May 5, 1930, Pia immigrated to Canada to marry her beloved husband Albert and remained
devoted to him for 51 years until his death in 2007. Pia will be greatly missed by her children, Elizabeth
(Leonard), Antonella (Sonny), Gerry (Aline) & Christina (Patrick). For ever remembering their beloved
Nonna are Stephanie, Matthew, Meaghan, Victoria, Emily, Eric , Nina, Albert and Sonya & Kayla. Loving
Zia to many nieces and nephews in both Italy and Canada
A much loved member of the Neocatechumenal Community and proud supporter of the Redemptoris
Mater Seminary in Toronto, Pia will be missed by many members of her community.
A long battle, later in life, with Parkinson’s disease was met with grace and resilience and she continued
to be a source of inspiration to all those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary of Toronto or to the Parkinson’s Society
of Canada
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, visitation will be for one day only on Thursday November 5 from 2:00 to
4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM. at DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele St. Toronto 416-636-7027). A private Funeral will be held at St. Norbert’s Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband Alberto at Queen of Heaven
Roman Catholic Cemetery following the Mass.

We can have public visitations and funeral service with a maximum of 30 people in attendance per visitation room with in and out privileges.

We kindly would like to remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects at the funeral home, to always remember to practice social distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.

As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Sattolo Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.

Our deepest condolences go out to the Sattolo family. Pia was such a thoughtful and kind lady and we were all made better just for knowing her. May she always rest in peace. You are all in our prayers at this most difficult time.
