Obituary for Nicola "Nick" Pistilli

Our beloved Nicola “Nick” Pistilli passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 1, 2023 at the age of 66. Nick will forever be loved and profoundly missed by his mother Giovanna “Joanna” (nee Di Pardo) and his loving brothers Rocco and Davide, and is now reunited with his late father Michele “Mike” who adored him in life.

Nick is survived by his wife Stephanie, and is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Rosa (nee Gaglia) and Nicola Pistilli, his maternal grandparents Maria (nee Rivellino) and Rocco Di Pardo, his aunt Addolorata “Dolores” (nee Pistilli) and uncle Michele “Mike” Gaglia, and his uncle Benito “Benny” Pistilli. Nick will remain in the hearts of his uncle Francesco “Frank” and aunt Angelina “Angie” Pistilli, his uncle Sergio and aunt Anna Di Pardo, his many cousins and relatives in Canada, the US, Italy, and Australia, and by his many friends, colleagues, and clients.

The visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home - Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario, Tel: 416.636.7027) on Tuesday April 11, 2023 from 4:00 - 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at DeMarco Funeral Home - Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, Ontario, Tel: 416.636.7027) on Wednesday April 12, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. A private cremation will follow the funeral service.

From the moment you and your family enter the Funeral Home, our highly trained staff members will be in our foyer to greet and assist you and your family’s visit. We continue to provide complimentary hand sanitizers and masks to our families and guests throughout our home.

Reservations or RSVPs are no longer required to attend your family’s visitation or funeral. Rest assured that even though the government's regulations continue to change and lift, our team will be constantly monitoring and disinfecting all areas of our home to ensure that all visitors are kept safe.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Nick’s name would be welcomed by the family. Thank you for all the support and for keeping our family in your prayers and thoughts during this time.
