Michele Marrano passed away on February 1st, 2021 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Gilda. Loving father to Jack (Paula) and predeceased by his son Roberto. Cherished Nonno to Michael, Marissa, Noah, Daniel, Marcus, and Gabriel. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by many other family and friends. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele St. 416-636-7027) on Thursday February 4, 2021 from 3-4 and 6-9 p.m.

Now that Toronto has moved to a “Lock Down”, visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in attendance within the funeral home. Unfortunately, cycling of guests, and in and out privileges are not allowed. Attendance may be booked through the RSVP option on the DeMarco website.

We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.

On the day of the funeral, attendees must be scheduled to a maximum of 9 plus the clergy. We would request that only the most immediate family members join us at the Funeral Home.

Thank You Michele for being the most loving Nonno to my children. You put a smile on their faces every chance you could. You helped their hearts heal all the while carrying your own broken heart. You always made them a priority. You’ve given them so many loving memories to carry them through their grief and guidance as they navigate life without you. We all find peace knowing you’re now with your deeply missed son Roberto. You’ve always held a special place in my heart for your unconditional love of my boys. I’m honoured that I named my first born after you. It was my privilege to be a part of your life. Rest Well Michele. Please hug Rob for the 5 of us. 💕

I don’t think it has hit yet that you’re gone. Getting that news was so heartbreaking I don’t want to believe it, but I know you’re in a better place with Zio Roberto. I’m expecting everything to settle in in the coming months so for now I just wanna keep it short and simple. Even though you wouldn’t say a whole lot, we all knew how much you loved us and would do absolutely anything to make the people you loved happy and comfortable. Your love was unconditional and for that I can’t thank you enough. I’ll never forget the times I’d turn that kitchen corner from the back door and say, “Chief!”, and you would have the biggest smile on your face. That smile
will forever live on. It’s going to be tough but I promise we will look after nonna because I know that’s what you would want us to do. And with that I just want to say goodbye Nonno, I love you forever and always.
