Heaven gained an angel and we lost one. It is with great sadness to announce that our beloved Mama passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on September 21, 2022 at the age of 88. Maria leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 68 years, Julio; her children, Marisa, Patricia and Eduardo; her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as family that resides in Uruguay and Argentina. She is predeceased by her parents, Basilisa Núñez and Isidoro Parodi, as well as by her son, Julio Cesar.

She will always be remembered for her love of her family, her cooking, and for just being an overall amazing person we were lucky enough to call "Mama".

We will all miss her dearly and will never forget the memories we shared over the years.

Funeral visitation will take place at DeMarco Funeral Home - Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto, ON) on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow after the visitation at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will immediately follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., Concord, ON).
