Obituary for Jerry Michael Catalfo
On Monday, December 19th, 2022, Jerry Catalfo passed away peacefully at home, aged 57. Cherished father to Michael and Julia, dutiful son to Nina, beloved brother to Mary and supportive uncle to Philip. Jerry was born August 14th, 1965, in Toronto, ON to Nina and Pietro Catalfo. He was always passionate about music and playing guitar for anyone who would listen. As a volunteer at Toronto Western Hospital, he was able to live out his dreams of being a rockstar. He enjoyed sharing his own experiences with epilepsy not just as a volunteer, but also as a friend at Epilepsy Toronto. His involvement with the Epilepsy community in Toronto brought him much purpose and provided him with many wonderful friendships. Jerry loved to travel with his kids, his friends and even alone. He would never let anything hold him back from a good adventure. His financial expertise was also something he loved to share with as many people as he could, never shying from a conversation about investing and often steering most conversations there anyways. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held at DeMarco Funeral Home, 8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4L 0K6 on December 29th, 2022, from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. A Funeral Service to follow at the end of visitation, promptly at 6:00pm. For those unable to attend the service, a zoom livestream will be set up for you to view online. Instructions to join the zoom meeting can be found below. Jerry's burial will take place privately with his family present.
