The word “Regal” aptly describes this incomparable human - our amazing Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Govindamma “Rita” Peters. We are proud to be the fruits of her womb, our beautiful Matriarch. She took her last breath as she lived - with dignity and absolute Serenity. We can’t imagine our world without her physically in it but we know her spirit will always surround us. Farewell, you divine human being. May your soul rise in Glory.
Rita was the Mother of; Lewis (d), Stella (Michael-d), Lovina (Cecil), Hilton (d), Marina (Harry-d), Lionel-d (Christina), John (Floris), Pearly (Seeukumar), Diana (Hilbert), Owen (Kamla), Christopher (d), Julian (Sandra), Rosanna (George), 26 of her grand children, and 30 great grand children. She is reunited in heaven with her Husband Simon Peters and all whose lives she touched who have preceded her
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home - Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, On. Tel. 905-850-9500) on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 4:00-8:00p.m. and Monday, January 23 from 9:00a.m.-10:30am., with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane St., Concord, On.). If so desired in lieu of flowers to honour Govindamma, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
