Obituary

October 25th 1955 - May 16th 2021

It is with great sadness that we the family announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Girolamo Adamo, affectionately known as Jerry. Age 65. Who passed on May, 16th, 2021 at the Markham Stoufville Hospital.
He was loved & cherished by his parents Maria Nicosia Adamo & the late Michele Adamo. Beloved husband of Oriza 'Joy' Adamo.
Loving father of Maria Adamo, Cristina, Javid, Fatima, Akleema & Aseema.
Beloved Grand-father of Asir, Asima, Amirah, Amir, Awaaz, Aseia, Adriano, Bella & Sofia.
Father-in-law of : Nadia, Fiaz, Brian & Yassine

Jer, God called your name so gently that only you could hear. No one heard the footsteps of the angels drawing near. God knew you were suffering; He knew you were in pains. He must have known you would never get fully well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So, He closed your weary eyelids & whispered, 'Peace be Thine".
He knows He was going to break our hearts by taking you away from us and even though it hurts we could not wish you that pain again.
Your present we are now denied, but the love you gave us will always shine. Now we know when we look up to the sky who the brightest star will be (YOU).
We will never forget you; we will never stop loving you. We will pray for you to rest in eternal peace for all the days of our lives.
We will go on knowing with each passing day we are a day closer to seeing you again.

Love you forever & Always,
Naso.

Now that the Toronto Region has moved to a “Lockdown Zone”, visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in attendance. Please keep in mind that the Visitation and Funeral Service is by invitation only due to Government Restrictions as well as the Bereavement Authority of Ontario directives.

We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.

As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Adamo Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.

My sweet Jer, my beloved husband,
You brought me to Canada and now left me forever. You have done too many good for me and children. You came into our lives when we needed you the most. You were an Angel sent to us, our Angel. All the happiness I had known in my life you gave it to me. I cannot forget you ever Jer. Everything we built and had together I will cherish. I will never forget you. You always brought a smile to everyone you came in contact with and you were beyond amazing. I know will see you again and when I do that time we will never have to part.
Please wait for me my love.
I love you. You will always be in my heart until you can be in my arms again.

All my love, Joy.

You were the best from all the rest. Hardly like a step-father, but more of a real father. I still cannot believe that you’re not here. Today has been 1 week since I last saw your beautiful face and honestly I’m still stock and can’t accept that this is our reality. For me, you were perfect in every way.
As I go forward in life I will remember all you’ve taught me and the love you brought to my life and I’ll use that as my strength to get through the days.
I will cherish all the times I had with you and all the memories we made together. I will never stop praying for you and if there is after life I will pray harder to get you as my dad if not by blood then by love again.
Love you always and forever Uncle Jer.
