Obituary for Flavia Abatecola
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Flavia Abatecola. Flavia passed away peacefully from natural causes on May 17,2020 at Norfinch Care Community, Toronto Ontario.
Flavia, the oldest child of Lucia and Felice Carnevale, grew up in Pico, Frosinone Italy with her parents and siblings Giuseppe, Antonio and Elisabetta. She married Candido in 1956. They had two children Linda and Giuseppe and in 1965 they emigrated to Canada where Felice was born.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Norfinch Care Community who have cared for Flavia with compassion and dignity for many years. Flavia will be dearly missed by her loving and devoted husband Candido. She will be sadly missed by her children: Linda (Bruno), Giuseppe (Elizabeth) and Felice (Diane), Grandchildren: Julian (Angelika), Natasia (Michael), Matthew, Christina (James), Rachel, Luca and Great grandchildren; Alina, Sebastian, Joseph and Sofia.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in memory of our late Flavia Abatecola to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
The family wishes to thank everyone for all your support at this time.
A private family viewing will be held at
DeMarco Funeral Home Keele St.
