Obituary for Elena Colagiovanni
God called on Elena Colagiovanni on July 15, 2020 at the age of 74. While we mourn the unexpected loss of Elena we reminisce on the many memories we shared. Our beloved Elena will remain in the hearts of her family and will be immensely missed by her son Peter and daughter in law Lisa along with her grandchildren Joseph and RosaLiana. She will be reunited with her loving husband Giuseppe. Elena spent many years with Antonio and will be missed by his children , as a second mother, by Jeanfranco (Tamara, Betty, Andrea, Danny) Lucy (Alfredo, Vesna & Sasha) and Andy (Tina & Matteo) God gained and Angel when he called on Elena and her genuine and loving heart will be missed. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 3-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 11am at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge, Ontario). Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane Street, Toronto, Ontario).
We can have public visitations with a maximum of 40 people in attendance per visitation room.
We are encouraging all friends to come to the funeral home during the visitation periods if you are comfortable and to meet us at the church for the funeral Mass. We kindly would like to remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects at the funeral home, to always remember to practice social distancing and to avoid all physical contact.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the funeral home on the funeral day and at the cemetery as the morning of the funeral will be stricly for the immediate family members, along with the interment at the cemetery.
We encourage all family and friends to leave a message on the memory wall online.
Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
