Obituary for Domenico D'Andrea

God called Domenico (Mimino) back home to Heaven on May 1st, 2023, at the age of 89. He will be missed by his wife Teresa, his children Bruno (Tania), Marina, Sonia (Marc) and his brother Vincenzo. Domenico will always be fondly remembered and loved by his grandchildren Gianluca, Marc-Philippe, Philip, Louis-Francois and Julia.

He is now reunited in paradise with his parents, his grandson Charles-Alexandre, his siblings, his paesani and many other good friends. Domenico will be joyfully remembered for his gardening passion, his wine, his delicious grappa and homemade salsiccia. He was always keen for a game of scopa, briscola or bocci. Domenico will always be remembered as a proud Carapellese.

Visitation will take place at DeMarco Funeral Home – Keele Chapel (3725 Keele Street, Toronto tel: 416.636.7027) on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 2pm – 4pm & 7pm - 9pm. A Funeral Mass will follow on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at
9:30am in St. Jane Frances Church (2747 Jane Street, Toronto). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (7241 Jane Street, Concord, Ontario).

In memory of Domenico the family would appreciate donations made to Hospice Vaughan or the Canadian Cancer Society (please see link at bottom of this page).
