God called her name so gently, that only she could hear. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Concetta Di Buono, on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at the age of 83.


She is now reunited with her Husband Saverio Di Buono. Parents Luigi and Clotilde Di Matteo, and her Siblings Antonietta, Luca, Sylvia and Angelo. She will be missed by her Sisters Mariacarmine and Marietta and Sister in-law Maria. Forever treasured by her Children, Son-Giuseppe (Erminia) Di Buono and Daughter- Maria (Giuseppe) Franze. A proud and loving Grandmother to Jennifer (Paulo) Martins, Saverio (Nancy) Di Buono, Jonathan (Michelle) Di Buono, Sara (Jeffery) Borges, Gregorio (Natasha) Franze, Concetta (Claudio) Filippelli, Antoinette Franze and Saverio (Lisa) Franze. She will be forever adored by her great grand children, and dearly missed by all family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Weston Terrace Care Community for their outstanding care, love and support.

Everyone had a special name for Concetta, Ma, Mommy, Nonna and the list goes on. Regardless of what you called her, those who knew her, knew how special she was. She was someone who remembered all of your accomplishments and forgot all your mistakes. Her life was a blessing, her memory is our treasure, she will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

During this unprecedented situation with Covid-19, it is with heavy hearts that we will not be having any public visitation or funeral service at our funeral home at this time. We recognize that the health and safety of the family, many friends and staff comes first.

We encourage all family and friends to leave a message, share stories and honor the life of Concetta on our Memory Wall.
