Obituary for Carmela Orlando
God called Carmela home on February 2, 2023 at the age of 89. She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband Angelo, as well as with her parents, brothers and sister. She was a proud mother to Ersilia (Frank), Jenny (Biagio), Tonina and Claudio. Cherished Nonna to Vince (Anita), Tina (Tony), Frankie (Melissa), Christopher, Deanna and Amanda. She was also a beloved bisnonna. Carmela will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her many other extended family members and friends. She will be held dear in the hearts of her dearest great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will also be sadly missed by Danny (Rita), who was like a second son to her.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel- 8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario- Tel-905-850-9500) on Sunday February 5, 2023 from 4-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day on Monday February 6, 2023 at 9:30am at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Drive, Maple, Ontario). Private family entombment to follow.
