Cameron Edward Palmer 60, passed away Sunday November 22, 2020. Born in Kingston Jamaica, he was the son of the late Mildred Wright and Kenneth Palmer.

Cameron attended York University, and was a Bell Canada employee for 25 years.

Cameron wore many hats. A serial entrepreneur, he formed many companies, being one of the first individuals to receive a cellular franchise with Cantel (now Rogers). Painter, Real estate agent, Airport service technician to name a few.

A gregarious person at heart, Cameron believed in family, and strived to keep that front and center as many family members can attest.

He is survived by his sons, Riel Palmer, Jace Palmer and Alexander Palmer. Grandsons, Jaylen Palmer and Sincero Palmer. He is also survived by his sister Judith Palmer and brothers, Alexander Nelson and Wain Palmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Layla Palmer and Stanley (Roy) Palmer.

All family, friends, loved ones and all who knew Cameron will be invited to attend a Celebration of Life service as big as his personality at a later date.

Please note that it is now mandated by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering. We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Scheduled visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Keele Chapel) 3725 Keele Street Toronto, on Thursday December 3, 2020 from 4-9 p.m. and Friday December 4, 4-9 p.m.

Our Family would like to thank you for your support during our time of sorrow.

Now that Toronto have moved to a “Lock Down”, public visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in the funeral home. All attendees must be scheduled by appointment only. Scheduling will be arranged through the immediate family. Unfortunately, cycling of guests, and in and out privileges are not allowed.

On the day of the funeral, attendees must be scheduled. We would request that only the most immediate family members join us at the Funeral Home.

DeMarco Funeral Home is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

I had the pleasure of meeting Cameron at Bell; and we had lunches together from time to time. I always enjoyed his insight, he spoke quietly but Always with conviction. A great sense of humour And often he would make me think with his quiet wisdom. I am so sorry to hear the loss of this very special individual. I’m honoured to have had the pleasure of knowing him. I am sending prayers and thoughts to the Cameron family at this time.
