It is with great sadness that the family of Bernardo Pizzicarola announces his passing on February 3, 2021.

He is survived by his beloved wife Venia of 64 years. He will be forever remembered by his children Mary Jane (Charlie), Frank (Terri) and Robert (Mimma). Cherished Nonno to Cassandra, Frankie, Robbie and Nadia. Loving Bisnonno to Jaden, Haylie and Jonah. Bernardo was a loving and caring brother to his siblings Elisa, Victoria and Art.

Bernardo is now reunited with his beloved Granddaughter Claudia and his siblings Antonietta, Valentino and Agnes.

He was born in Ceprano, Italy on May 8, 1932. Immigrated to Niagra Falls, Canada in 1950 with his father Francesco.

He married Venia Grasso on July 6, 1957 and relocated for work to Toronto with his wife and daughter Mary Jane. He proudly worked at CN Railway as a truck driver for over 35 years.
During this time they had two more children Frank and Robert.

He will forever be loved and deeply missed by his wife, children, grandchildren and great -grandchildren. He will be remembered by his many relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly asked for those to make donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in remembrance of Mr. Bernardo Pizzicarola.

Now that the Toronto Region has moved to a “Lockdown Zone”, visitations will allow a maximum of 10 people in attendance. Please keep in mind that the Visitation and Funeral Service is by invitation only due to Government Restrictions as well as the Bereavement Authority of Ontario directives.

We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.

As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Pizzicarola Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.
