It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Bernard “Bernie” Major. Bernie passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 76 years. He will be forever loved and cherished by his wife of 53 years, Vernetta (nee Watts), and sons Mark (Nicole) and Michael (Michelle). Bernie adored his four grandchildren, Hayden, Jarred, Sophie and Sammy. Bernie will be missed by his sisters Mima and Rona (Frank) and a large, extended family. Bernie loved bass fishing, the Jays and the Leafs. As per Bernie’s wishes, there will not be any funeral service at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
