Obituary for Anna Guida

Mrs. Anna Guida, beloved matriarch of her family, departed from this world on April 29, 2024, at the age of 96, surrounded by the love of her family. Born to parents whose love and guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she became, Anna's life was a testament to strength, grace, and unwavering devotion.

Anna is now reunited in Paradise with her beloved husband, Gaetano, with whom she shared countless cherished moments and built a legacy of love. Together, they weathered life's storms and celebrated its joys, creating a bond that transcended time.

Anna leaves behind a legacy of love through her children: Alfonso (Anna Rita) and Domenic (Sylvia), who were the pride and joy of her life. She poured her heart into nurturing and supporting them, instilling in them values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance that will endure for generations to come.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her grandchildren: Daniel, Stephen (Erika), Laura (Steve), Vincent (Lina), and Robert, who were the light of her life. Anna found immense joy in their laughter, accomplishments, and the love they shared. Among her greatest blessings were her great-grandchildren: Julianna, Olivia, Christian, Chloe, and Layla, who brought endless delight and filled her heart with boundless love and joy.

Anna was a pillar of strength and wisdom within her family, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love to all who knew her. Her legacy of compassion, generosity, and selflessness will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives she touched. In addition to her immediate family, Anna is survived by her sisters, Liberata and Filomena, who shared a bond of sisterhood that was unbreakable. Their connection remained steadfast, a testament to the enduring power of family. Anna was preceded in death by her siblings: Casimiro, Paolina, Maria, and Giacomo, whose memories she cherished and whose spirits she now joins in eternal peace.

Anna Guida's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts and memories of those she loved and who loved her in return. May she rest in peace, reunited with her loved ones in the embrace of eternity.

Visitations for Anna have been entrusted to the DeMarco Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel (8003 Weston Road. 905.850.9500) and will commence on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on, Monday, May 6, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. and conducted at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington., Woodbridge, On.). Immediately following Anna’s Mass an entombment Service will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road., Toronto, On.)
