RAMRATTAN, ANN CLARICE born April 21, 1938 in Trinidad; peacefully passed away April 11, 2021 in Toronto surrounded by family after a brief illness. Just shy of her 83rd birthday which she proudly shared with “The Queen!”, Ann had a happy, fruitful life, always generous and compassionate to all people and animals who crossed her path. She had incredible faith until the very end.

Predeceased by her husband Gopaul Sammy (1965) and sadly predeceased by her husband Byron Ramrattan (2009). She leaves to mourn a wonderful legacy of children in Trinidad and Canada; Cheryl Ann, Sharon, Peter (Baby), Karen (Mark), Carrie (Winston), Cindy, Brian (Chantal), Mark (Robyn) and Petra, ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren, her Sister Barbara (Trinidad), The Brewster family (Venezuela), cousins Clara Smith and Gloria Fitzpatrick (Trinidad) and her dear friend Sister Cherry, among many other family, friends and her congregation at The Perfect Love Tabernacle.

Due to Covid Restrictions we are sadly limited in the number of mourners. A private viewing will take place on Monday April 19, 2021 followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. There will be a video link provided for the service. Private Burial to follow.

Now that the Toronto Region has moved to a “Lockdown Zone”, visitations will allow a maximum of 25 people in attendance. Please keep in mind that the Visitation and Funeral Service is by invitation only due to Government Restrictions as well as the Bereavement Authority of Ontario directives.

We would kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.

Please note that it is now mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.

As we continue to pray for an end to this horrible virus, the Ramrattan Family would like to thank you for your support during their time of sorrow.

Aunty Ann was a very special, kind, caring and loving woman. Her presence will just light up a room. Aunty Ann has been apart of the family since I was a child and I will never forget how much you cared for my grandmother (Samdaye Mahabir) she loved you very much. 10 years later you both reunite again and will laugh with joy like how you use to. My deepest sympathy to the entire family, she is in a better place now. Rest in peace Aunty Ann🙏🏽 Love, Abby Chowbay

I will never forget the first time I saw sister Ann. I was visiting at Br Nelson's church and I kept looking at her because she looked so much like my grandmother, and after service was finished I heard her speak I couldn't believe how much she sounded like her too. It turned out we are family and I enjoyed talking to her and I loved getting to know her over the pass years. She will be missed.

Sister Ann had a soft and gentle spirit and was a very pleasant person to be around. She was easy to talk with and had a ready smile. May her soul Rest In Peace and may God comfort the family.
