Adriana Laura Lappano, was born in Rome, Italy, on August 6, 1924, to Eduardo and Stella Pupella, joining her brother Guido as a family. She would spend many summers visiting her loving aunt and uncle Angelina and Peppino Criscuoli. It was at the Conservatory of Rome, Santa Cecilia, where she would meet the love of her life, our beautiful dad, Ercole Lappano. They courted each other singing countless arias by composers such as Puccini and Verdi. After they married, they moved to Toronto, Ontario, and their union gave birth to Enrico, Gabriella, Marco, and Giuseppe. Adriana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother to Genevra, Alexander, and Devon. Her creative spark, gifts, and talents could be savoured in her kitchen with her elaborate homemade meals and baked sweets and breads; her love of fashion; and aesthetic sense as an artist and through home décor. Adriana was a beautiful, exuberant, fiery, passionate woman, with a huge heart, using her beautiful hands and eyes to communicate and express the depth of her emotions and feelings. She died on May 30, 2020.
