Ms. Leslyn Shirley-Gayle, aka (Lola or Sister Patterson) was presented to us by the universe on Friday December 1, 1939. She is the six of fifteen children; the mother of seven; the grandmother to eleven and great grandmother to eighteen. She lived in Jamaica, West Indies in the garden parish of St. Ann. She immigrated to Canada in 1972. Her greatest desire was to uplift her family out of poverty, and to ensure her children had a good education; thereby, having a future. She did this by relentlessly supporting them. She came to know Jesus Christ as her savior in the 80’s and have never looked back. She was a might defender and servant of God. One of her phase is” God heal me or take me home.” After suffering a significant health crisis, the Lord shined upon her and honor her wishes, and since she could not be healed He took is servant home, leaving the world a little less bright and sorrow behind. One of the greatest gift Christianity providers for believers is the knowledge that she is home with her Father, whom she loves so much; and He welcomed her with the most beloved words. “Welcome my good and faithful servant.”

I love you mommy, and thank you for all the sacrifices you made for us. I am greedy; I wanted more time with you. Say hello to our heavenly Father and all who have gone before you. I will see you, but not too soon, I have quite a bit to do. Be blessed my sunshine.
